Our Services

Our multidisciplinary team includes a medical provider, psychologists, a board-certified behavioral analyst, physician assistants and other professionals depending on patient needs.

The Evaluation Process:

• Physical exam
• Diagnostic interview
• ADOS (activity-based assessment) and other assessments as needed such as Neuropsychological Testing, Academic/Achievement Testing or IQ testing to name a few
• Consultation with medical providers who may be necessary
• Feedback and recommendations
• Comprehensive evaluation report that includes recommendations and referrals to community resources/providers.

Next Steps

If the child is diagnosed with a developmental disability, including autism, the multidisciplinary team will provide treatment recommendations. The team at the Evaluation and Treatment Center will offer:

• Individualized behavioral programming – Including ABA therapy and/or Behavior counseling
• Medical management of developmental disabilities
• Developmental pharmacology
• Family support and teaching
• Assistance with New York State Office for People With Developmental Disability (OPWDD) eligibility review process, if applicable
