food pantry: cc's cabinet

CC's Cabinet -- a new food pantry that has been established at OLV Human Services to honor the memory of a beloved co-worker -- reflects the compassion, dedication, and community spirit that our colleague embodied. We aim to carry on their legacy by providing food and essential items, many of which are not able to be received through SNAP.

 

CC's Cabinet serves as a vital resource for families and individuals facing food insecurity. With the rising cost of living and the ongoing challenges many face, the need for support has never been greater. The pantry provides nutritious food, personal-care items, and other essentials to help our neighbors maintain their dignity and well-being.

 

 

While CC’s Cabinet does have standard food items such as pastas, sauce, cereal, peanut butter/jelly, and soups, it also includes fresh produce, frozen/refrigerated items, self-care items, pet food and cleaning supplies (all items are available while supplies last).

 

OLVHS clients and staff members have access to the pantry.  CC's can be found at 790 Ridge Road in Lackawanna.  Hours of operation are currently Tuesday and Friday between 9 a.m. and noon.
