Baker Victory Services Board of Directors Announces Resignation of CEO Terese Scofidio
The Baker Victory Services (BVS) Board of Directors and Our Lady of Victory Institutions (OLVI) announced today that Terese Scofidio - Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BVS – is resigning her positon as she finalizes plans to move to Colorado.
The reason for her departure from the CEO position she held for nearly five (5) years is that Scofidio is moving to Denver, Colorado with her husband as he recently accepted a new position there. Her two daughters, and new granddaughter, also live in the Mile High region.
While at BVS, Scofidio established a new statement of purpose and set of organizational values. During her tenure, BVS opened a 40-bed Residential Treatment Facility, transformed the buildings and usage of the BVS Martin Road Campus, introduced program offerings like emergency foster care and the intensive treatment program, and made many other significant contributions. She was also honored as a “Woman of Influence” in 2017 by Buffalo Business First.
The final date of her tenure as CEO will be decided in coordination with input from the BVS Board and the OLVI Leadership Team. Until her move to Colorado, Scofidio will work with a soon-to-be-named interim CEO, the BVS Board, and the BVS leadership team to ensure continuity and quality care for those served by the organization.
The BVS Board has begun a search for a new CEO. Individuals interested in the position are encouraged to contact Patrick O’Leary, Chair of the Board of Directors of BVS, at 201-245-7630 or [email protected].
